PROJECTS

Is an international showcase of architecture and interior design for the work of professionals who have used and enhanced the chromatic, technical and expressive properties of Warli carpets and floor coverings.

Every architect is invited to submit his projects, realized with the Warli materials for public and residential buildings, contract and 'hospitality', in interiors and outdoors, both in the new buildings and in the restructuring and restoration of the existing ones.

WASL TOWER

DUBAI 2023

The wasl Tower is a benchmark 302 metre super-high-rise structure in a pivotal Dubai location. The wasl Tower has one of the world’s tallest ceramic facades and is a regional touchstone for adaptability and sustainability. Its capacity to acclimatise to local temperatures through shading and cooling techniques sets this building apart within the hot desert climate. Its design aesthetic and 'contrapposto' structure revolves around ‘Figures in Motion’ and references the interconnectivity of Dubai’s complex and thorough infrastructure. This adaptable, multipurpose addition to Dubai’s skyline reflects mobility, establishes sustainability and provides opportunity.

Our Twilight lanterns have been chosen as perfect complements for the magnificent project carried out by DEPA Interiors LLC and Studio 971.

THE MEDELAN

MILANO 2023

The Medelan Milano, an historical building reflecting Italian style at its most authentic, where heritage meets contemporary design and beauty meets elegance.
Studio GLA Architects has curated the renovation and architectural project, selecting our Finisterre rugs for the main entrance lobbies.
Oone of our most decorative rugs, furnishes a series of architectural wonders, ex Credito Italiano Bank, Contratti Warehouse and Palazzo Broggi buildings, welcoming visitors for a remarkable leisure, shopping and business experience.

SIX SENSES HOTEL

ROMA 2023

The interior project designed by Patricia Urquiola for Six Senses Rome places an emphasis on the well-being of the guests. A harmonious connection with nature infuses all spaces, from communal areas to bedrooms, in both evocative references and the well-chosen use of materials, consistent with the location and with the Six Senses ethos. Urquiola translates the brand’s philosophy – a focus on well-being, a sense of conviviality, and a commitment to sustainable design – into a project that develops the concept from the genius loci. The craftsmanship, the finishes, the materials, and the graphics create a union with nature while staying true to both Roman classicism and Palazzo Salviati Cesi Mellini’s rich history.
Warli developed custom versions of our rugs together with the Studio. Khadi, Levante and Loop from the Plein Sud Collection, Tricot from the indoor range, and Twilight lanterns as a complement for outdoor spaces.

FALKENSTEINER HOTEL & SPA

JESOLO 2023

A barefoot dream on the sand: this is the holiday experience offered by the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo, which has been renewed and now introduces fascinating new elements in a lively update of the structure's design.
Warli rugs furnish the Hoku Restaurant & Lounge Bar, where Km0 Italian Mediterranean cuisine meets the flavours of Japan and Peru, and an exclusive proposal of Hawaiian tiki cocktails.
The essentiality and elegance of Japan from Tatami and the refined tones of the mélange yarn of Antibes complement the outdoor spaces of the resort.

SIX SENSES HOTEL

DOURO VALLEY 2022

Located in Portugal’s beautiful UNESCO world heritage listed Douro Valley, the 20 acre estate of Six Senses Douro Valley is touched with the romance of 19th century architecture wedded to contemporary interiors reflecting the inimitable Six Senses style. 


The project by Patricia Urquiola was complemented by Warli's outdoor rugs Khadi and Levante in the dining and lounge area. 

MANIFATTURA TABACCHI

FIRENZE 2022

Two of the buildings of the former Florentine cigar factory now house 45 highly designed housing units, thanks to a requalification work that aims to preserve the original architecture, reworking it in a contemporary and sustainable key.

Patricia Urquiola signed the interior design project of Anilla, building 7. Originally intended for a warehouse, it stands out for the characteristic curved plan that inspired the name and identity of the project. Warli collaborated with Studio Urquiola to furnish one of the spaces with a Dots carpet in custom colours.

SPAZIO MUTINA

FIORANO MODENESE 2022

The “space” has been designed by Studio Urquiola in collaboration with the Mutina Projects Division as an oasis where you can experience the brand’s “universe”, through the constant interaction between nature and light. Greenery is present in the industrial areas, characterized by spans and large beams, communicating directly with the showroom, where it is possible to meet and spend leisure time in a continuous fluidity between working and recreation spaces, inside and outside.
For the furnishings dedicated to interior deisgn of Spazio Mutina, Studio Urquiola chose indoor Warli rugs: Elemental and Nomad, designed by Paolo Zani, with technical characteristics adapted to the project needs.

SANLORENZO YACHTS

CANNES 2022

SD90/s is the new hybrid engine model of Sanlorenzo's semi-displacement yacht line, presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022. The external lines of the SD90/s are designed by Zuccon International Project studio. The interiors are designed by Patricia Urquiola, who takes the sustainability challenge with an approach strongly linked to transformability.

Warli was once again chosen as partner to design a flooring with continuity between the rooms, through the asymmetrical texture with oblique slats, like parquet. In the owner's cabin on the main deck, our Dots rug, designed by Paolo Zani, was chosen to complete the furnishings, with technical characteristics and materials adapted to the project's needs.

CA' DI DIO LUXURY HOTEL

VENEZIA 2021

The building, an ancient refuge for pilgrims and women, is a historic residence rebuilt by Jacopo Sansovino in the 1500s with a long tradition of hospitality that has its roots in 1200.

Warli participates by setting up the common areas with a custom version of the Basel (main lobby), with the Albers (secondary room) and lighting the internal gardens with Twilight lanterns.

The rooms and suites are enriched by our Mantra, carpets from the Handloom collection, all designed by Paolo Zani.

THE SIGNATURE PENTHOUSE 
IL SERENO HOTEL

COMO 2021

Warli has returned to Lake Como’s Il Sereno with designer Patricia Urquiola latest project: the Signature Penthouse. For this project Paolo Zani,designer Warli ,has developed alongside the designer’s studio exclusive rugs that complement this magnificent space: Cross and Untitled. Both hand woven in wool. Dots is one of the rugs from our Indoor catalogue that has been chosen for this project, with a twist: it is made of wool and econyl, a form of nylon that is made entirely from waste products, reinforcing both Warli and Studio Patricia Urquiola efforts into finding new and more sustainable materials.Twilight makes a special appearance at the suite offering a dynamic and warm light to illuminate the private terrace overlooking the lake.

JW MARRIOTT'S HOTEL 

SEOUL 2019

A beautiful and luxurious hotel in Korea, just renovated in the characteristic style of Studio Urquiola. Warli participates in this project with the products that it does best: the rugs.

For some areas of the prestigious hotel, the studio has chosen models from the indoor collection, designed by Paolo Zani, such as Mantra, Basel and a Dots revisited in colors ; the Arena was instead selected from the Equipment collection.

SANLORENZO YACHTS

CANNES 2019

SD96 is the new model of Sanlorenzo semi-displacement SD yacht line presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from the 10th to the 15th of September 2019.
The interiors, designed by Patricia Urquiola, are sophisticated and welcoming with a modern and elegant look.
Warli has been chosen as partner to complete the furnishing: Dots and Mantra from our Handloom collection, and Big Sur from the Dhurries family, designed by Paolo Zani.
Protagonist is Dots inspired by the sea colours, developed in an exclusive customization by adapting the technical characteristics and materials to fit the requirements of the project.

ABITAZIONE PRIVATA

LAGLIO, COMO 2019

The Urquiola studio has included in the renovation of a beautiful  private apartment with a terrace overlooking the lake in Laglio, some models of our Indoor and Equipment collection, for living areas of the penthouse.

The choice fell on Dots, Barbès and Flare in customized sizes and colors for the customer.

HOTEL VELAA PRIVATE ISLAND

MALDIVE 2019

Velaa Private is a new resort on one of the most exclusive islands in the Maldives, in the Noonu Atoll archipelago north of Malé. Some exclusive interiors have been designed by Patricia Urquiola, a perfect combination of 'polite luxury', where the essence of the Maldivian culture, lifestyle and landscape meet privacy, comfort and luxury.
For the outdoor areas the carpets of the Plein Sud collection Khadi, Levante and Quartett were selected, designed by Paolo Zani, made according to project specifications.

ABITAZIONE PRIVATA

SHANGHAI 2018

The architecture studio DLArchitecture of Shanghai has included in the renovation of an exclusive penthouse in Shanghai in China, our Antibes and Quartett models for living and passage areas.

Although they are outdoor rugs, the softness and the mélange effect of the polypropylene yarn make all the rugs in the 'Plein Sud' collection easy to use even in interiors and in 'wet' areas such as saunas, hammams, spas and gyms.

DANUBE PRIVATE UNIVERSITY

KREMS 2017

The Danube Private University of Krems in Austria, an excellence for Dental Medicine, has selected Flare carpets from our Equipment line to furnish some of the halls of the structure. Placed in the common areas, the carpets made of 100% natural silk are perfectly suitable to support a high traffic of visitors.

HOTEL EXCELSIOR

DUBROVNIK 2017

Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik was renewed and reopened to the public last May. A stunning 20th century architecture fully  Studio Franić Šekoranja re-designed to create a sophisticated and contemporary atmosphere. Warli has supplied the Arles, Quartett, Levante, Crochet  rugs for the outdoor spaces and Sheared of the Equipment collection, Barbes, Arabesque for the lobby and the 158 rooms and suites. The selected models are designed by Paolo Zani, made to measure in large dimensions, on the specifications of the Architects  and customer Adriatic Luxury Hotels.

A new Urquiola Studio project for a prestigious Villa in Australia. In collaboration with the contract section of B & B Italia, the indoor Dots and Loop

rugs of the Plein Sud outdoor collection were chosen. Designed by Paolo Zani, they were handwoven in special sizes and colors for ‘Thanes House’ in Melbourne, Australia.

HOTEL IL SERENO

VILLA PLINIANA 2016

Il Sereno and Villa Pliniana on Como lake are two top resorts in Torno on the shores of Lake Como. Completely redesigned by Patricia Urquiola, I was named as "the most anticipated opening of New Luxury Hotel in 2016" by the Luxury Travel Advisor magazine. Warli has provided carpets for the 30 rooms, entrances, halls, penthouses and outdoor areas designed by Paolo Zani, including Loop, Dots, Barbes, Big Sur and others made on exclusive models.

IGNIV RESTAURANT 2016

The Igniv restaurant, part of the prestigious Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in St. Moritz, has been entirely redesigned by Patricia Urquiola. ‘We wanted to create a typical conviality of a nest, according to the kitchen philosopy of sharing by the chef Andreas Caminada and the architecture of the old manastery where the restaurant sits.

Warli has supplied the ‘Avana’ rugs, made of new zealand wools with a fine ‘vintage’ finishing, of the Equipment collection to furnish the 3 adjoining rooms that compose the restaurant.

The Loop rug of the Outdoor Collection "Plein Sud" by Warli, designed by Paolo Zani, was chosen to furnish the new Panerai shops by Patricia Urquiola.

DIOR STORE 2015

New York City - USA 

with Peter Marino

The Loop rug designed by Paolo Zani was chosen for the new Dior store, designed by architect Peter Marino. Located on the ground floor of a late 19th century building, it retains much of the original design elements, albeit adapted to the highly modern and glamorous design of Peter Marino.

NEUTRA FLAGSHIP STORE 2013

Milano

The first Neutra showroom in Viale Piave 14 was opened in Milan on June 20, 2013, in collaboration with Caleido, CEA, Macrolux, Oltremateria and Warli. A new exhibition format characterized by strong corporate affinities designed to be reproduced in major foreign capitals.
