Ubik, derived from the Latin ubique, meaning “everywhere”, is a hand-tufted rug for interiors, distinguished by its irregular border. A combination of tufting techniques and different yarns creates a rich, dynamic surface with a sense of movement. The same colour takes on different nuances depending on the yarn and technique used, resulting in subtle shifts in tone and texture. Patterns and shapes emerge across the surface, creating a distinctive interplay of colour, material and craftsmanship.
